We receive 100s of emails everyday, some important ones and some marketing emails which we are not interested in. Not everyone has the time to sit and delete them everyday. And for once, you sit relaxed and chance upon deleting the unread messages in your Gmail inbox, obviously, you will not go on searching each and every unread email in your inbox, and then delete them one by one.
Like mine is 2000 and above unread Inbox messages. You can see down below.
So, here I will show you how to delete all the unread messages in your Gmail inbox in one go. Let's Start
1. Log in to your Gmail id. In the search Tab, right above the mail, (next to where Google is written, see pic down), type the following [in:inbox is:unread]

3. You may now check/uncheck whichever messages you want to keep/delete.
4. If you want to delete all unread messages from you Inbox (like me), you can select the check box on the extreme left hand corner of your Gmail just below the Search box, click on the drop-down menu and select "All". (see pic below)
5. Click on the delete button (3rd button after the above mentioned button). You can delete all the unread messages on the Current Page. (see pic below)
6. Do this for every page. One page consists almost 50 emails.
7. The whole process may take 10 minutes approx. (Also depends on how many unread messages you have in your Inbox)
