Who Am I??

I ask this question to myself almost daily. Yes, I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a mother (d,s,w,m). Is that enough? Every woman is a daughter, sister, wife, mother.  But, Who Am I? What is my identity? Am I an individual with a different personality than being only (d,s,w,m)? I am an educated woman, married with a cute little daughter. Is that enough introduction for myself? Will I be able to sustain my whole life with just these words for my introduction? A BIG NO.

I want to work, work hard and much harder to achieve something for myself. To add words to my introduction, make it a full-fledged sentence, and some day someone would introduce me to the world where they would fall short of pages for my introduction.

I do not dream of being wealthy, or being famous, I only want people to know who I am, what have I done and what have I achieved. I want my family and my children to be proud of me. To know me as a hardworking woman who despite facing hindrances, facing all odds kept working towards the achievement of her goals.

And I do not see that day very far. I want to do it and I will do it. I will make my family and my child proud. That’s my life goal and I am working hard towards it and I am sure God will help me in this journey of mine.

The Greece crisis

Greece, the weak link in the euro zone, is inching nearer to defaulting on its debt. The country has been in a long clash with its European creditors on the terms of a multibillion-dollar bailout. If the country goes bankrupt or decides to leave the 19-nation euro zone, the situation could create instability in the region and echo around the globe. Since Greece’s debt crisis began in 2010, most international banks and foreign investors have sold their Greek bonds and other holdings, so they are no longer vulnerable to what happens in Greece. And in the meantime, the other crisis countries in the euro zone, like Portugal, Ireland and Spain, have taken steps to overhaul their economies and are much less vulnerable to market infection than they were a few years ago.

Greece became the epicentre of Europe’s debt crisis after Wall Street implosion in 2008. With global financial markets still whirling, Greece announced in October 2009 that it had been understating its deficit figures for years, raising alarms about the soundness of Greek finances.
Suddenly, Greece was shut out from borrowing in the financial markets. By the spring of 2010, it was deviating toward bankruptcy, which threatened to set off a new financial crisis.
To avoid calamity, the so-called troika — the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank and the European Commission — issued the first of two international bailouts for Greece, which would eventually total more than 240 billion Euros, or about $264 billion at today’s exchange rates.
The bailouts came with conditions. Lenders levied harsh austerity terms, requiring deep budget cuts and head-long tax increases. They also required Greece to revamp its economy by systematize the government, ending tax evasion and making Greece an easier place to do business.
Sunday’s referendum will test whether Greek citizens want to stay in the euro zone. New elections could also be held if Greece’s financial situation worsens. Or Greece could test the willingness of Russia or China to help should talks with Europe stumble.

DIY Easy and Best way to remove blackheads at Home

Hi Guys

This is an easy and best way to remove or reduce blackheads at home.

You'll need:
1 bowl
1 application brush
Baking Soda
Lemon

Method:

Take a bowl and put 2 tsp of baking soda in it.

Squeeze half a lemon into the baking soda. This mixture will start to bubble as both the ingredients are acidic in nature.

Let the bubbles rest. Do a swatch test first, because of its acidic nature.

Apply this on the affected area and leave on till it dries or for 15 mins.

Wash the area with cool water and pat dry it. Remember, do not rub the area.

Apply moisturizer.

See the effect. :)

*Please do it on your own risk. Both the ingredients mentioned are acidic in nature and may not suit every skin type.

Aam Panna

Ingredients:

Raw Mangoes  ½ kg
Jaggery  ¼ kg
Black Salt  acc. To taste
Water

Method:

Soak jaggery in little water, for an hour, for the purpose of it getting soft, and easy to melt and grind.

Peel off the raw mangoes and slightly make slits into them with a knife.

Boil water. When the water is boiling, put the raw mangoes in it, and let them boil for 3-5 minutes.
Strain the raw mangoes. When they are cooled off, remove the seed and put the soft part of the raw mangoes in a mixer.

Mash the jiggery in the soaked water so that it becomes like juice and liquid. Strain and put this jiggery juice little by little in the mixer while grinding the raw mangoes. Add in black salt too.

After the mixture is all ready, strain it once again in a tight lid bottle. You can keep the concentrated juice in a bottle, and mix with cold water and serve whenever required, or mix it with water all at once and keep the diluted juice for ready-to-serve purpose.

This juice is very effective in this hot summer, where jaggery helps in treatments of flu, cough and cold, water retention etc., and raw mangoes which are high in Vitamin C, which is an essential vitamin required in body especially during summer, helps in digestion and strengthening immune system.

Acne - our biggest problem

Its pimple pimple everywhere. On my cheeks, my forehead, my nose, it has left no space on my face empty. Pimples behave like uncalled for visitors or relatives, who come to your place without giving notice and stay on till you are fed up and don’t know when and how they will proceed for their place. Pimples are similar. They will come exactly when you have some event or occasion to attend, stay there and leave a mark, as if they want me to remember them my whole life.

My skin is pretty oily, and I do whatever to keep it clean and non-greasy, it would not budge and keep my skin like a chip-chip sweet food. Why me?? Oh God!! But no. It’s not only me. There are hundreds of girls out there, and boys too, who have got the same problem as me.
I have read many a times on the internet that this happens when you reach an age of puberty, when you have hormonal changes in your body, and then acne breaks out frequently. But why do they have to stay so long???? My pimples keep coming and going, as if it is their place where they do whatever they want to do man J

Whatever cream I use or try to use, they break me out. Even company’s claims of non-oily and non-greasy products do not work. L . My skin gets dry during winters, and when I try moisturising it with a mild moisturiser, it again breaks out acnes on my face. I had once got acne vulgaris. Sounds dangerous, Right? I got tiny red pimples all around my face, making my face look like a ploughed field. I visited a dermatologist and she suggested a cream, which had quite good effect till I was using it. After I stopped using the cream, I was again back to ground zero.

I know this is a problem with many of us and you all will agree with me, but finding solutions to our problems is the sole responsibility of our own selves. So, I started researching on the causes of these head-ache causing acne and I found out that eating too much of oily food, roaming in open sunlight without protection, not keeping face clean and not washing it regularly with a proper cleanser, not including vegetables in meals, and lack of exercising, are all causes of an acne prone skin. Hence, I decided to change all these bad habits and have started including green veggies in my diet. I, now, exercise daily and try keeping my skin clear of dirt and oil my washing my face with mild cleansers at-least twice a day. I also drink lots of water and try having Green tea because it is found to be very helpful in skin rejuvenation. I avoid direct sun-light and try cleaning my face after I have been in dirt and dust outside my home.

And what I have found out to be the result of the change in my life-style is great. I have less acne now, one or two breakouts, rarely. My skin feels fresh and awesome without these acne. I hope people do change their lifestyles for the betterment of their own and get a glowing healthy skin.

Please do visit the following sites for more information on acnes and their solution.

We Condemn the cartoon by Charlie Hebdo

If you are creative, that doesn't mean you will make anything you wish. If you are provided with Freedom of Expression, you should not be hurting other people's sentiments. If you are an atheist, that does not mean no one believes in God. You should have religious tolerance in yourself. One should respect every person's beliefs and rituals.

Have you ever seen HIM, whose cartoon you have shamelessly carved out? Did anyone show you his photograph, or ever described to you how HE used to look like?

Why the hell do you people choose only HIM to show your creativity on? Why do you provoke HIS followers by making fun of HIM?

Who has given you the right to make fun of HIM, who has billions and billions of followers all around the world?

Ofcourse, I do not approve of the attacks that were done on you all, because HE never taught us to be violent, but they were such ardent followers of HIS, that they went against HIS teachings.

WE WANT PEACE. And that is only possible when people will start minding their own business, will start learning to RESPECT other people's BELIEFS and RELIGION.

I request you to stop creating such non-sense and focus on other important things in life. There is so much else that you can show your creativity on. HE has given us such a beautiful place called EARTH, the nature, the universe. Why are you interested in carving out the CREATOR, when HE has provided you with his CREATION.

I hope people start understanding their right to freedom well and act accordingly.

I hope HE shows the right direction to all. AAMEEN.

Easy Monster Cookies

Ingredients:

Eggs (3)
All purpose Flour (Maida) 350 grams
Butter (100 grams)
Baking powder (1 tsp)
Vanilla essence (1/4 tsp)
Peanut Butter (100 grams)
Cadbury Gems (optional)
Dry fruits (almonds, walnuts, pistachios or as per you like)
Sugar (1 cup)
Butter Paper
Oven Dish/tray

Method:

Strain the flour and baking powder together so that no lumps are formed.

Beat the eggs in a bowl (inclusion of yolk is up-to you). Put the peanut butter and plain butter in the bowl with the beaten eggs, along with sugar and beat the mixture well.

Add in ¼ of vanilla essence.  Keep adding the flour little by little and keep beating the mixture with an electric blender or a simple hand blender.
Blend the mixture so well, that even if you invert the bowl the mixture does not drop down.

Add the Cadbury gems and dry fruits, and mix them with a spoon so that they get along with the mixture evenly. DO NOT BLEND AFTER PUTTING THESE INGREDIENTS.

Place the butter paper on the oven tray. With a spoon or a scoop, put the mixture on the oven tray, maintaining enough distance between each of them. (For some creativity, you can use a fork and slowly press on the cookie so that it gives a lining to the cookies on the top)

In a pre-heated oven, put the tray for baking at 180 degree Celsius for 20 minutes.

Take the tray out carefully, and let it set for 5-10 minutes.

Slowly, take out the cookies and enjoy them at snacks time, at breakfast or give them to your loved ones in their Tiffin box.
